Support Yourself with a Reiki Session this Holiday Season!

From: Nikki Leary I nikki@rootfornew.com

Hi Reader,

This weekend in Wisconsin was cold.

Like… below -10 degrees cold.

Cold enough that we brought the ducks into the garage so they wouldn’t freeze. 🪿

And in the middle of that stillness — bundled up, tea in hand, ducks settled into a warm home — I received my Reiki Master certificate.

Adding another tool for helping people come back to balance brings me so much joy.

If you’ve ever been curious about Reiki — or unsure what it actually does — here’s the simplest way I can explain it:

Reiki works with your nervous system and energy to help release what your body has been holding onto but no longer needs.

That might look like:
• emotional stress that’s been sitting in your chest
• tension in your hips or lower back
• feeling stuck, heavy, overwhelmed, or disconnected

During a Reiki session, you don’t need to talk, relive anything, or even be “in the right headspace.”

You simply receive.

Your body does the communicating — and often it brings forward emotions or patterns you didn’t realize were quietly blocking your energy, clarity, or calm.

With my Master Reiki training, I’m able to hold space more deeply, notice subtler patterns, and support release in a way that feels safe, gentle, and supportive — never forced.

And because this work is meant to be accessible, not intimidating, I want to invite you to experience it.

Through December 23, I’m offering virtual Reiki sessions by donation — meaning you choose a price that feels good to you.

No scheduling. No Zoom call. No pressure.

Here’s how it works:
• You choose a donation amount
using this link
• I perform your Reiki session intuitively
• I follow up with what came through and gentle guidance
via email or Facebook Messenger — whichever you prefer.

That’s it.

If your body has been asking for rest…
If emotions have been bubbling under the surface…
If you’re feeling called to let something soften or shift…

This might be a beautiful place to start.

I’m offering these sessions through December 23, as a way to give back, integrate this new level of training, and support those who feel called.

If you’ve been needing a moment for release, this is for you.

xo,

P.S. Ends soon! Use code DEC10 to get $10 off any order of $50 or more now through December 17. A little gift from me to you — because you deserve something cozy this season too. 🍵 Shop now.

2026 Issue #1 How to Make this the Year You Win From: Nikki Leary I nikki@rootfornew.com Hi Reader, I spent the weekend snowshoeing and sledding in below-freezing Wisconsin weather. I’ve heard mindset is important for surviving winter here… and honestly, I’m still working on that. ❄️ While I work on that, let’s talk about something I am good at: achieving goals. Statistically, most people have already given up on their New Year’s resolution by mid-January. If that’s you, this might be the...

2025 Issue #51 How to Let Go of What No Longer Serves You Before the New Year From: Nikki Leary I nikki@rootfornew.com Hi Reader, We've officially reached the in-between. That quiet stretch between Christmas and New Year's where no one knows what day it is and eating chocolate before 9am somehow feels...acceptable. This is the week where big projects politely wait their turn, productivity loosens its grip, and our bodies finally get a little of the rest they've been asking for all year. And...

2025 Issue #50 What the Winter Solstice Teaches Us About Healing From: Nikki Leary I nikki@rootfornew.com Hi Reader, Last night marked the winter solstice — the longest night of the year. That means that starting today, the days get a little longer. Slowly. Gently. Day by day we get more light. Winter still has a lot to say (the blowing snow and ice on my front steps make that very clear), but there’s comfort in knowing we’ve already passed the darkest point. Out here on the farm, winter...
