That's a problem for tomorrow

2026 Issue #41

The Power of Now

Hi Reader,

Earlier this summer, I walked my husband over to a row of trees in our yard and said,

"These trees are all dead."

He looked at them, acknowledged the problem, and mentally added it to his never-ending list of farm projects.

And that was that.

Months went by.

The trees were still standing.

Until one day...

CRASH!

One of those dead trees came tumbling down and nearly took out our duck coop in the process.

Thankfully, the ducks were fine.

But can you guess what's now moved to the TOP of the to-do list? 😂

Now, before you think I'm calling out my husband (who has more farm projects than any one person could possibly finish), I want you to think about something.

Don't we all do this?

We wait until something breaks before we fix it.

We notice the warning signs.

We know something isn't quite right.

But we tell ourselves we'll deal with it later.

Because right now?

We're too busy.

Too busy to make ourselves a nourishing meal.

Too busy to get outside and move our bodies.

Too busy to schedule that appointment we've been putting off for months.

But here's what I've learned...

There's always going to be another reason to put yourself last.

And sometimes those little signs we've been ignoring turn into bigger problems that demand our attention.

Suddenly, we find the time.

Because now we HAVE to.

Funny how that works, isn't it?

What if you didn't wait for the tree to fall?

Imagine if we gave our bodies the same attention we give everything else that depends on us.

What if you paid attention to the little signs before they became bigger problems?

The poor sleep.

The low energy.

The digestion that never seems quite right.

The Mineral Test you've been meaning to get. 😉

Or maybe there's something else you've been putting off that deserves your attention.

Because taking care of yourself shouldn't have to wait until something breaks.

So here's my challenge for you this week:

What's one small thing you can do for your health TODAY instead of adding it to tomorrow's to-do list?

xo,

Nikki Leary

2026 Issue #43 She Couldn't Lose Weight. Then We Looked at Her Minerals Hi Reader, “I LOST THE WEIGHT!” That’s how my client started our call this week. She was so excited to tell me how much better she felt! She’d lost the weight she’d been struggling with. She wasn’t nearly as tired. And the best part? She wasn’t even thinking about her weight anymore! Now THAT’S a win in my book! 🎉 But let me back up. Seven months ago, things looked very different. When she first came to me this spring,...

2026 Issue #42 Why Building Strength Matters More Than Losing Weight as We Age Hi Reader, The other day, I learned a pretty painful lesson. I was walking our two Great Pyrenees, which is roughly 250 pounds of dog on the other end of my leash. Everything was going just fine. Until Cato spotted something. And took off. With me still holding the leash. Well...for a little while anyway. 😂 Before I knew what was happening, I was flying through the air like I was auditioning for some kind of...

2026 Issue #40 Keep a Pebble of Hope Hi Reader, I'll be honest with you. The past month has not gone the way I wanted it to. I've had moments where I feel like nothing is working out. I've felt frustrated. Overwhelmed. And some days, I've wanted to hide in bed instead of facing whatever was coming next. Ever feel like that? And here's the funny part... I'm an energy healer. I'm supposed to help other people work through this stuff. So what happens when it happens to me? I meditate. I don't...
