Three simple things I'm doing to rebuild my energy

3 Things I’m Doing to Fix My Energy as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner

Hi Reader,

If you’re anything like me, your to-do list is probably longer than a CVS receipt.

I get it.

Between work, family, projects, and trying to keep everything running smoothly… being “busy” almost feels like a personality trait.

And if I’m being honest, I’ve always been this way.

In high school I worked part-time while ensuring straight A's in school. I still managed to spend time with friends, play varsity sports and date my boyfriend...you know, all the things.

I’ve always liked doing a lot.

But over time, that pace adds up.

For a while I blamed my old corporate job for my burnout. The long hours, the travel, the pressure.

But recently I had to admit something to myself…

The problem wasn’t just corporate.

The problem is that I tend to push myself.

And eventually your body notices.

I just got the results back from my most recent Mineral Test, and I’ll be honest — I’m not exactly proud of them.

But I am grateful for them.

Because they showed me something important: my adrenal glands are limping along a bit right now.

And when your adrenals get depleted, it doesn’t just affect your energy.

It can start impacting your thyroid, kidneys, and liver too.

Yikes.

The good news is once you know what’s happening, you can support your body.

So here are the three things I’m doing right now to help my adrenals recover:

🍊 Drinking an adrenal cocktail daily

This simple drink provides three things your adrenal glands rely on: vitamin C, sodium, and potassium.

These nutrients help support your stress response and replenish minerals that get burned through when life gets… busy.

🥩 Eating higher-fat, higher-protein meals

Right now I’m focusing on foods that stabilize my blood sugar and support hormone balance.

Things like: • avocado • olives • feta cheese • quality protein with each meal

This helps prevent those energy crashes that can make adrenal burnout even worse.

🐄 Using glandular support

Sometimes your body just needs a little extra help rebuilding.

I’m using adrenal glandulars to help support recovery while my body restores its reserves.

If you’d like to try the same ones I use, you can use this link to get 10% off through my Fullscript store.

The bigger lesson for me in all of this?

We all want to do it all.

But if we don’t prioritize our own health somewhere on that list, eventually our body starts crossing things off for us.

And it usually doesn’t do it gently.

If you’re wondering whether your body might be dealing with burnout too, a Mineral Test can help you see what’s really going on under the surface.

Because once you know what your body needs, supporting it becomes a whole lot easier.

2026 Issue #13 Why Potassium Still Matters More Than You Think Hi Reader, When I was running cross country in high school, our coach used to tell us to eat two bananas a day to avoid shin splints. And honestly… at 16 years old, that advice was pretty sound. I loved bananas, so I followed it religiously. And my coach was right — potassium matters. (And ha ha… there are actually a few foods that pack even more of it — like spinach, avocado, potatoes with the skin, and coconut water.) But here’s...

2026 Issue #12 How Toxic Metals Are Stored in Your Body (And How to Detect Them) Hi Reader, Imagine an old friend calls you out of the blue and says they’re in town… and on their way over. If you’re anything like me, you suddenly have about 10 minutes to “clean” your house. 😱 And let’s be honest… that version of cleaning isn’t exactly deep cleaning. It’s more like: 🧺moving the laundry pile from the couch to the back bedroom 📑stacking papers into one “organized” pile 🍽️cramming dirty dishes...

2026 Issue #10 Afternoon Energy Crash in Perimenopause: Causes and Solutions Hi Reader, I completely ignored something my body was trying to tell me. Even though I’m always telling you not to do that. Sometimes, in between building a business, running a farm, homeschooling, filing taxes, and debating whether or not we truly need another animal… my perimenopause brain forgets to take its own advice. Here’s my confession. Lately, around 5:30pm, I’ve been hitting a wall. Not just “a little...
