Are hidden toxins causing fatigue, joint pain and more?

How Toxic Metals Are Stored in Your Body (And How to Detect Them)

Hi Reader,

Imagine an old friend calls you out of the blue and says they’re in town… and on their way over.

If you’re anything like me, you suddenly have about 10 minutes to “clean” your house. 😱

And let’s be honest… that version of cleaning isn’t exactly deep cleaning.

It’s more like:
🧺moving the laundry pile from the couch to the back bedroom
📑stacking papers into one “organized” pile
🍽️cramming dirty dishes into the dishwasher

You’re moving fast. Not thinking too hard. Just shoving things out of sight, trying to make things presentable.

But nothing actually got dealt with.

It just got… moved.

That’s exactly how your body handles toxins. ☠️

When your system gets overwhelmed, it doesn’t always eliminate everything right away.

Instead, it stores it.

It tucks things away in “back rooms” — or in this case, your tissues.

Out of sight. Out of mind.
But still there.

And this is where most people ask, if I was exposed to heavy metals wouldn't it show up in a blood test?

Not exactly.

Because your blood is like your living room.

Your body works really hard to keep that space clean and stable.

So instead of letting toxins circulate, it moves them elsewhere — into storage.

Which means if you’re only testing blood…

you might be missing what’s actually being stored.

That’s a benefit of tissue testing.

Because if you want to know what’s really going on…

you don’t just check the living room.

You open the drawers.
You look in the back bedroom.
You see what’s been quietly piling up.

If your body has been feeling off — low energy, brain fog, not bouncing back the way you used to —

it might not be random.

It might just be… stored.

If you’re curious where toxic metals might be coming from in your everyday life, I put together a simple Toxic Metal Cheat Sheet you can download.

It walks you through:
• common sources (some might surprise you)
• how exposure happens over time
• what your body is actually dealing with behind the scenes

And if you’re sitting there thinking… okay, but what about me?

A Mineral Test can give you that answer.

Because it doesn’t just look at what’s in your blood today —
it reflects what’s been stored in your tissues over time.

It can show:
• current and past exposure to toxic metals
• patterns of accumulation
• and even clues about how well your body is eliminating them

So instead of guessing…

you actually get a clearer picture of what your body has been managing all along.

2026 Issue #13 Why Potassium Still Matters More Than You Think Hi Reader, When I was running cross country in high school, our coach used to tell us to eat two bananas a day to avoid shin splints. And honestly… at 16 years old, that advice was pretty sound. I loved bananas, so I followed it religiously. And my coach was right — potassium matters. (And ha ha… there are actually a few foods that pack even more of it — like spinach, avocado, potatoes with the skin, and coconut water.) But here’s...

2026 Issue #11 3 Things I’m Doing to Fix My Energy as a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner Hi Reader, If you’re anything like me, your to-do list is probably longer than a CVS receipt. I get it. Between work, family, projects, and trying to keep everything running smoothly… being “busy” almost feels like a personality trait. And if I’m being honest, I’ve always been this way. In high school I worked part-time while ensuring straight A's in school. I still managed to spend time with friends,...

2026 Issue #10 Afternoon Energy Crash in Perimenopause: Causes and Solutions Hi Reader, I completely ignored something my body was trying to tell me. Even though I’m always telling you not to do that. Sometimes, in between building a business, running a farm, homeschooling, filing taxes, and debating whether or not we truly need another animal… my perimenopause brain forgets to take its own advice. Here’s my confession. Lately, around 5:30pm, I’ve been hitting a wall. Not just “a little...
